Hi! I would really like to know if there’s some way to find out if your villager in boxes has been asked to move to someone’s island and accepted (after talking to a visitor). Should your villagers dialogue change when you talk to them again or do you need to have a 3rd party talk to them to confirm they’re already planning to move to someone else’s island ?

I’m worried I may have been scammed out of my villager as the person told me they forgot they don’t have an empty plot so they needed to go back and move someone out but it’s been a few days now that I’ve been holding the villager and I’m growing increasingly concerned so this would be a big help if someone could tell me, thanks!

When you go to their house and try to go in, it will say "I've moved out" and you won't be able to. If you're still seeing the villager in boxes and still could be able to talk to them, it means they haven't actually been invited yet.

If they’re moving to another island. Their door should have a sign that says “I’ve moved out”.
