How to reset villagers interior

... accidentally gave someone the wrong item for their starter houses and really upset about it.. i think i have to give them like 30 of the same item now?? But dont they display the same items multiple times? Idk if this is possible .. please help if you have any clues.. i just want it to go back to the default atarter lazy house

amiibo or moving them out and finding them again as far as i know. if im wrong someone can correct me

Moving them out doesn't restore their starter house, it just gives them their real one.

yeahid like to keep the starter house and just refresh the furniture..
