How to get villagers out fast?

I'm resetting, but I'd like to send Apollo and Marshal over to my secondary town so I can pick them back up later. So, what process takes the less time?

Um... well with me I had only 4 villagers I was going to keep in my town. If you have villagers you want to keep, I recommend doing to 7-day method (or my method haha).

1. Start up your town.
2. Set time one day forward repeatedly until someone pings (don't exceed one week of TTing, if you get to day 7, tt two days back at a time).
3. If they need to move, let them move out. If you want to keep, then say no (duh)
4. Repeat 1-3 until 16 people have moved out.

Or do the Year, year, 5 day method.

1. TT one year forward from a day that a villager was in boxes.
2. TT another year.
3. TT 5 days an someone else will be in boxes.
4. Repeat.

I've been TTing for a while on my own shaky methods, but your methods sound very safe. c: I'll try it myself! xD
