I haven't played in 6+ months (though having the game since 2012) and in my town I started the other day, I'd like to know how to 'void' my villagers / move them out?
Well, the most common way people do it is TT 2 days forward then back to the original date.
Say if you were on the 14th February TT to the 16th then back to the 14th.
Walk in front of your villagers until one of them ping you, if you don't want them to move, tell them to stay. If you do, say bye and they're gone!
The 2 days backwards counts as one day, but honestly you don't need that method. You're better off tting forward / tting in your wanted timeframe and then just checking villagers after every 3 day gap between pings. ( all days bacwards count as one day, so even if you go back months its just one day)
Basically,
Day 1 after ping
Day 2 after ping
Day 3 after ping, check all villagers by speaking to each outside a few times (i do 3 for each) and then make sure to stand by them for a few secs
Day 4 if nobody pinged on day 3 check again
Day 5, check again if needed
keep going till you get a ping and then reset the cycle.
But the 2 day method is kinda sucky cuz if you mess up when checking and then tt 2-3 days you might be ****ed. In order to tt in a certain timeframe,, like between dates 22-28 just make sure to go back to day 22 at 28th
I haven't lost a villager yet this way and am currently using this method between months 3-7 and have played my copies for over 2k hours so I speak from experience. Sorry for the messy writing im tired
