How to get rid of created residents

Ok so, one of my sisters made a resident on my animal crossing game( before she got her own 3ds and game) and placed her house right in front of mine. Sine she got her own she said it was ok to delete her character and house.I want to but, I don't know how. Is it even possible?

From the start screen choose continue then select her character, tell Isabelle you need some help instead of selecting to start and choose to demolish the home.

Yes it is possible once you click on a character to start playing with select the "I need help with something" option then click on "destroy my house" this will delete the character, its house and everything in its inventory.

On main screen, Hit continue and click on her character. Pick 'I need help...' When isabelle asks you.. And click on 'Demolish my house'
