How to get Redd to your island? (Restarted)

hi hi! I restarted my island for the new update and got to three stars to start terraforming. I put some of the outdoor furniture away after hitting three stars initially so I may be down now to two.

I bought Redd’s spot on Harv’s Island because I thought I could donate art to Blathers immediately, but he said he isn’t accepting art yet.

Is there a way to trigger Redd to come? I have TT a bit but haven’t seen him on my island. I have donated fish, bugs, and sea creatures to Blathers and my Nook shop is upgraded as well!

Hellooooo, I restarted as well. ^-^
It's possible you haven't donated enough to Blathers yet, I believe you need to have a minimum of 60 things total before Redd will come and sell you art? I could be wrong but I think that is possibly the issue

Yes keep donating to blathers and after a certain point you see redd’s ship on the top beach. Then he will be walking around your island and you have to find him and talk to him.
