How to get pitfalls faster!

Here's how to do it:
First, go to the island
Then, go to a balloon hunt tour. Do NOT pick easy!
Next, start the tour
Then, ask lloid for a shovel. There will be pitfalls on the ground. Dig them up!
Finally, wait for the tour to end. When you go back to the island, your pitfalls will be in your pockets!
You can use these on villagers you don't like or your friends for a little prank!

I was more interested in stopping pitfalls spawning at all in my town - bury one in an out of way corner & so long as a villager doesn't step in it, no more will spawn.
The dark blue pitfall - can't remember what its called?? I've only seen in lost & found, works the same as the usual one, just gives you a smaller star shape when burried.

Those dark blue pitfalls are called tricky pitfalls and they have a smaller star thingy in the ground so they are harder to see
