how to get nook’s to close due to unusual circumstances

i was watching crunchy islands most recent video, and pressed to a random time in the video when abdallah tried going into nooks and it said “today we are closed due to unusual circumstances.” i think this would be a really cool feature to have, and my curiosity is piqued, but i was also wondering if it was a truly of hacking. a little fiy, i never finished the video, i literally just watched that ten second smidgen, so if they answered that in the video, i have no idea.
