So I've really been trying to force myself back into animal crossing. I finished getting my house paid off but the nook store never has any furniture I want to decorate it and Im not as active on this site to be able to earn enough tbt to buy furniture from other people. I also am very uncreative and unmotivated to decorate my island. I moved all my villagers to the beach to terraform as well as terraformed a little bit of my island but became bored very quickly. I watch people stream animal crossing and I really want to become more involved with the game but Im just struggling. Villager interaction is probably my least favorite part of the game since villagers dont really have much personality left as they seem to lose some each remake and now theyre bone dry. Im looking forward to the sanrio update since i have the cards and plan to turn my island into a kawaii dreamland but again I am uncreative and have no idea how to make a good looking island. Any help or opinions are appreciated! :)

I like to follow animal crossing design accounts on social media, and if I see something I like then I try to design some sort of variation of it on my own island. There's absolutely nothing wrong with copying things you like.

Having a few areas that change every month or seasonally is fun too. I turned my pumpkin patch into a winery, for example, and have some paper lamp designs that change every 2-4 weeks.
