How to fix villager house?

So a lot of my neighbors
houses r just ew lol
since they like random stuff in your
pockets haha
so my question
is
how do i fix this? can there be a way to make there house
nice?

Send em furniture by the mail or sell them the furniture they ask or let them buy items you want them to buy at retail thats a few that I can think of

The retail method does work, but it's really unreliable and time consuming imo. Like the person above me, Just send them things by letter. They will almost always put it in their house. They will one replace one item per day some make sure you space them out. Ex: don't Mail a villager 5 letters each with different things because they will only put one of them in their house.

Yeah whatever you oust to them just make sure it's the same size as whatever item it is in their house you are wanting to replace. I finally changed Diana's goldfish the other day by sending her a sweets minimally. Went straight in replacement of the only other object she had of the same size.then fill up retail to stop them putting furniture in there and be careful about delivering parcels to them as they often display those

To keep villagers from trashing their homes, I've stopped giving them items I may have in my pockets. Recycle is filled with shells and flowers. Villagers love custom items. When Roscoe got rid of most his sleek series I purchased items he got rid of then had them customized. I sent him one piece of furniture everyday until I was satisfied. I take pictures of villagers interiors so I have a record of what I would like to change if anything.

whenever an animal puts their original furniture in retail i buy it and then put it back up for sale for them lol

Yep! Sending letters is the best way to go, but sometimes they place the item in weird spots. For example, I sent Erik a folk guitar and he placed it facing the wall. Yeesh.
