I'm not a very creative person.I don't know how to decorate in front.Unsure if I should put a project there,paths,bushes,flowers,or what ;-;

I leave that area clear for trading, I just have my path & flowers along the outside. I have a streetlight there also on one side. I've seen people put patterns down in a mural. Bushes have to be a space away to grow properly, but they could be nice.

Do you have any kind of theme in your town?
Because if you have a certain theme going, you could lay down a mural fitting the theme or just fit everything into that theme like for example; if it's a pink theme town, get the pink hydrangea and pink azalea starts and put bushes around it, the saplings for when it's cherry blossom season, pink paths.

I don't know if you have a theme though.
If I use paths, I like to lay the path around it and have some like, flower-y meadow path pieces around as well. But that's just me. I don't know what you like.

I leave it clearl for trading
But I like to put some tress and make it to path going down
But that about it if not then I just put flowers outside but I leave the concrete out
For trades

I set out baskets of various perfect fruits in front of Ruddyoak's bulletin board, and have decorative path tiles surrounding those. They're mostly for decoration, but if someone needs some or wants to trade, I do.

I'm also a big fan of standees, and think it would be a fun addition to the train station area--something for your guests to interact with right away (and if your town does have a theme, the standee could help set the tone for that theme). I can't speak for anyone else, but any time I see a standee in someone's town (dream visit or IRL), I stop and take a picture. :)

*Edit again: I've also heard the suggestion before (from TheBitBlock, I think) to use the fence PWP as an area for trading items. If you do a lot of trading, and if the fence doesn't clash with the style of your town, maybe having that located somewhere near the train station could be handy. It would free up more space for other landscaping.

That's the only part I have decorated thus far. I actually bordered the whole thing with bushes and left 3 gaps for pathways. I put flowers outside the bushes around the whole thing. Might do more, but I think it looks pretty grand. I'd like to decorate the ground with patterns, but that's not very good for trading

I've been trying to decorate around that area, too. Right now, I have the main part empty for trading/extra fruit. And then I have bushes/flowers around most of it, along with a standee.

i leave the pavement clear for trading, but i have some holly bushes on the left side and some bamboo on the right.

I'm not sure about everyone else's but I have starts around my train station, minus one on each side for space obvi.
I like the way bush starts look framing it and maybe two different colour hybrids set up like this "xoxoxoxo" (x being one type, o being another) on the other side of the bushes?

I personally left the cobblestone untouched for trading. The area below my train station however, I did a lot of work on. I'm planning on making a sunset rose garden there. It will have different colors of roses to match how it goes from fiery colors to moody colors. Why not do a garden of some sort? Their relatively easy to do, and there is a lot of different combinations of flowers you can do.

Mine's lined with holly bushes, with blue and white violets lining that. I did add one of the street lamp PWPs to the corner of it, which imo looks really cute (especially on rainy days like today).

I usually just line the front of my train station with paths, a few bushes like a hedge, and maybe a PWP or two. Otherwise, I just leave it empty for visitors and trades.
