How To Cycle

I have been wanting to make a nice thread for the longest time. But- what is a cycle?
I have seen other threads and now I am wondering.

Cycling is when you quickly cycle (or remove) villagers from your town using a certain method of time traveling. Although it doesn't always mean time traveling, you could always cycle one by one as they leave, but that usually takes a long time and it is not very efficient.

There is a really good comprehensive guide with multi cycling style options on that thread. After I obtain my dreams will be doing this, so basically if you have your dreams and extra time and an extra cart you can use it to build a town made for just giving/selling/trading or auctioning those villagers away to others on TBT. If have two ds machines can use a cycle town to get you own dreamies and transfer them or hold more villagers while temporary cycling out starters.
Also you do not need to be a full blown cycler to use those methods if you have a villager you want and just need to make space for a more preferred, you just would post it as a give, trade, auction or sell not a cycle. Or you can self cycle which is when you have one town and let two villagers go or move them out with those tting methods or variations to get a specific type of missing or wanted villager.
Also note that on the first day you start up your camp site if you start with a new character not your mayor there will always be a different animal in the camp as long as you don't save until you find who you want you can use this to cycle the camp, there is a great online camp cycling guide on this it helps many get who they want as nine or ten.
So there are different uses of the word. But on the threads those are people who have a temp or perm town dedicated to putting animals up for others for various reasons, with varying rules, but is a good place to find dreams if new as some older players with a lot of TBT and complete towns do all free cycling threads.
