Hey guys! I only have 2 dreamies left... the thing is, I've been trying to cycle out the 2 villagers that I don't want, but nothing has worked so far.
I also came across this guide but haven't tried it out yet.
I've started to befriend these villagers as ignoring them doesn't seem to work and I saw a youtube video that suggested that the game doesn't want you to get a villager's pic so the villagers with the highest friendship level will always try to leave.
Does anybody have an idea? :)

Basically just trial and error hoping the one you want to move out decides to leave, or using amiibo cards if you want the easy way out.

I wouldn't say tracking down, and purchasing the amiibo card you want, then scanning it, and plot resetting was 'the easy way out'. O_o

I have 10 amiibo's.

Thankfully plot resetting is way easier now! All you have to do is put patterns wherever you don't want villagers to move. Aaaaand the amiibo card of my dreamies are a bit pricey. so... yeah lol

What I do that works almost every time is that I fast forward one or 2 days. I ignore them but everyone other time I cycle I hit the unwanted villager with a net. They leave in probably 7-10 tries. Hopefully it works! good luck :D

Time travel one day at a time and spam chat the villagers you do like to see who they say is moving. There won't always be someone ready to move so it might be a while before you hear anything, but don't skip ahead without talking to your villagers. Obviously you want to convince any of your dreamies wanting to move to stay, but just ignore the villager you don't want when they ping you about moving because they may decide to stay and you'll have to try cycling them out all over again. They'll still move, even if you don't tell them to.
