How to "close a visit" when are you the host?

Hey guys, so I'm kinda new, when someone visits your town for a trade or to get a villager and then the trade is complete, I've noticed that some hosts are able to "close" the session and essentially kick the guest out (and still have the trade complete)?? how do you do this?

Press start and the 'save and end' :3

Press start. There is a button that says "End multiplayer session"
