How to catch tarantulas?

My friend told me I could get a lotta money from that.. how can I find those bugs in the game.... hmmmm.looking for new horizons

I've seen many videos on catching tarantulas, I am only 3 days in now in my game and I don't know what is needed or when I can. Apparently you can get a random island to visit to scrap clean to make tarantula spawns to happen.
