How to buy 2 times the same game in the E-Shop?

Hello,

I was wondering, is it possible to buy the same game twice (or more) in the e-shop?
When I go in the application, to the game I want (but already have), I don't see where I can buy it again, I just have "downloaded" (or something like that) in the bottom of the screen.

Has anyone already tried this? ^^

Quick question, but which game were you trying to get two downloads of? It just seems odd that someone would need two digital copies of a game in the first place, unless it's one where there is only one file on the copy of the game, and you'd have to restart the game if you wanted to start another file....

I think you just described New Leaf here.


But yeah, you can only purchase an eshop game once for a single account. Though even if you could purchase the same game multiple times, in all likelyhood they'd just all read from the same save file anyways, so....

If you want multiple copies of a game for whatever reason, you're gonna have to invest in physical (if its an option).
