If anyone here drinks coffee, how strong is your coffee preference?
My preference in coffee is usually fairly strong, but I tend to balance it out with creamer and a bit of sugar or sweet syrup. I'm not a big fan of extra strong ones because they're usually ultra bitter in taste for me.
3-in-1 coffee is another story as I usually just drink that whenever I felt like I want a quick breakfast drink.
I don't like my coffee strong, but my parents do and they're in charge of making it. :v I add sugar and milk (or coffee creamer if we have any) to balance out the bitterness.
I used to drink coffee exclusively with nothing in it, but these days that is too extreme for me. On the other hand, coffee drinks that are too sugary can sometimes be problematic as well (although sometimes I still enjoy them). My go-to every day choice is medium-dark coffee with a generous amount of cream/creamer (usually no extra sugar, though)
I wish I could could give an exciting answer, but I am hooked on boring ol classic Folgers medium roast with a bit of creamer and sugar. I don't think I have the fancy taste others have, but I sure do like my morning cup of coffee!
Doesn't the filter only last about 10 litres and then need replacing? I'd just cover the taste with sugar. It just seems strange I'm spending 10 quid on a decent jar of coffee and it claims to be fruity and bold, but it tastes like tinkle.
Guess I'm making it wrong by putting the water in first lol
I can’t handle coffee that’s super bitter, but I do love a nice cup. If I’m making it at home, I’ll do medium strength with milk or cream and sugar. When I’m out and about I’ll usually get a latte or something with a bit of an extra flavor.
There’s a coffee shop near me that makes a cinnamon maple latte that is to DIE for.
I like strong coffee. I don't drink it often because almost everyday I drink exclusively water. I drink a cuppa maybe once a month to two months. If I'm having a coffee, I usually put three spoonfuls in and a bit for good luck (this "bit" could be anywhere from a half a spoon to a full spoon). I add milk, but not too much because don't want to hide the taste of the coffee. If I'm out somewhere though, I'll get the sweetest mocha and drown it with caramel syrup.
Dark coffee, the stronger the better, with a little bit of half and half. If it's a lighter roast, I NEED it super sweet otherwise it just tastes gross to me. Basically, I either need my coffee very bitter or very sweet. The in-between is yucky.
I usually just use pre-ground coffee in my Keurig using reusable cups nowadays. I always set the Keurig to strong and always have a dark roast and add a little bit of milk or half n half. Leaving the house is when I get the sweet stuff.
I don’t drink coffee as often as I used to but when I do, I definitely prefer it on the sweeter side. I’ve tried strong, bitter coffee a few times, but it’s just not for me, I can’t seem to get used to the taste. I usually go for drinks with cream, sugar, or flavored syrups to balance it out.
I've never been a huge coffee person, so I guess my answer is "not too strong". Most of the coffee drinks I have are closer to desserts, like frozen coffees with chocolate or vanilla to offset the bitterness of the coffee.
I can appreciate a strong coffee! I've tried light, medium, and dark roasts and have enjoyed all of them on their own or with a bit of cream. I'll typically order an Americano if I'm at a coffee shop (though 7/10 times I'm in the mood for a tea latte).
As long as it's somewhat sweet and has enough caffeine it's good enough for me. I usually prefer something with a caramel or vanilla flavor. I don't make my own coffee unless Keurig counts, but I often have some kind of cold coffee instead of hot.
