When a player with a low medal count finds something at CT I start up the town with all the medals. She drops by and buys the items and leave. Most of the time I'm just by myself and she arrives on the same island. A few times I've had another player there and they get confused. Not sure how I can play two players at the same time.
This made me laugh! Yes it would have confused me!
Hadn't thought of doing that, & I have several towns. But I find CT so stressful that I haven't been for well over a year now.
The game I'm currently playing, I've got the mayor to just over 1000 medals, in prep to going to CT islands, but am so reluctant to go.
I love the Giant dragonfly tour, albeit you can't shorten it. (I collect fruit if I have time).
Elite scavenger is good but my memory is such I have to write the 3 items down before I start it, & I'd rather just sit & play rather than have pen & paper on my lap as well.
I have bell boom on, means items on my island cost 20% more in medals - eg something costing 40 medals costs me 48. But you don't earn 20% more on the tours - Giant Dragonfly still gets me 20. I put up with it as I do like bell boom, will take it off eventually.
I think (so long since I've been) that items on CT islands may also cost me 20% more - can't remember.
I've tried doing tours on my own island with a character from another of my towns (if you have a visitor you get rid of the CT membership and get another item in its stead) but I found I couldn't cope playing both characters even on the simpler tours - I need to practice.
