How quickly do you spend all your medals?

For me it depends as well, I feel like I spend them fairly quickly since I don't spend much time touring anymore (I should tour with some friends.....) and also someone gave me the Mermaid set which was amazing, I think there was one piece I needed and that was the screen which I got fairly quickly because I had been saving up. But usually if I see bush starts I try and stock up if I have the medals since those are harder to get plus I wanna plant more, but otherwise not many. Although I'm thinking I may end up trying to get the Cabana set soon for my second villager, that would be cool. ^^

I can never farm medals, I just don't have the patience or the time for the island activities tbh. I always just earn enough medals to get the item I want and then leave. I guess I don't really see the point in farming, I know it wastes less time but it'll just leave you with extra medals if there isn't anything else on the island you'd want to purchase. The fact you can also purchase island items here also makes it kinda redundant. :c

i already bought the whole mermaid set, and there's not really anything else i want from the island shop, so i haven't spent any medals in a while. i haven't actually earned any in a while, for that matter.

I never know what to do with them. I bought like the whole mermaid set but it isn't really my style so it's just sitting in a museum exhibit.

I eventually want to buy lots of treasure chests and fill one (or all) of my museum display rooms with treasure and bags of bells xD And maybe chocolate coins... So that's one of the things I'm grinding to get medals for (not many people on here sell treasure chests, especially not in large amounts).

I haven't gone to the island, let alone toured or spent medals, for a while. It's pret boring and tedious and in fact when I go to CT the last thing I want to do is tour, I'd rather laugh while watching whiny kids act stupid because I didn't give them virtual money.

I am trying to save up my medals right now and only buying cabana furniture. I can only do a few island games at a time before I get bored, so it's been a real grind. I'm trying to get the badges for medals but I really don't think I'll have the patience for that.
