How original is your town name?

My thought of my town name myself, though it sounds like an ode to Pokemon professors: Ivy Oaks. :C I really wanted my town name to consist of two words and I will forever regret not thinking to name it Ivy Lane, instead.

Amestris isn't particularly original since it's a reference, but it isn't super popular either. I honestly would have thought that it would be more popular, but I only saw a handful of towns in the Dream Suite named Amestris. I remember seeing someone else on Reddit with the town name, and I always meant to ask them to do some multiplayer for laughs, but it never happened. Otherwise, I haven't met anyone else with the town name. They do exist, though.

Not entirely, but there were only a few towns with the same name in the dream suite when I searched it. It is not a very exciting name. :b

I'd say mine is pretty Original. My towns name is Xertyen. I don't even know where it came from. Just randomly thought it up.

You have no idea
When I play Harvest Moon, there are so many Lon Lon Ranches on Wi-Fi that I've been forever discouraged from naming things after the Legend of Zelda. ;w;

Named after an obscure micronation in Nevada. Molossia is about as original as it gets. xD

Neither of my town names (Macaron or Rosemary) are very original, I don't think. Not that I particularly care, since I like them and all.

What sucks is that like 7 people have the same ton name as me. It was supposed to have an "e" at the end buy it looks much better to me and somehow to other people. Then when I search up towns with the "e" at the end only 2 towns pop up -.-

My town is called Annachie (pronounced Anna-key)
After an old folk song
Don't think anyone else has it

I don't know. Every time I've had Animal Crossing towns, it's almost always been Mew and Pokey.
Mew is based on the sounds cats make (contrary to the first belief of many that it was based on the Pokemon) and Pokey is ACTUALLY based on Gumby's red horse friend, Pokey.

Not very, Yonder has like, idk 12 towns by the name?

still like it tho. Will probably stick with that town name in the next game :- )

I picked the name Cat Cove because I like cats and it fits. I picked my second town named Gem Isle because my mayor character (from ACWW) likes gems and jewels. I would guess both are pretty original. All my characters in NL are from WW.

Mine is "original" in the sense that I doubt anyone else has it... But it's not very creative LOL.

I was just having trouble thinking of a name that would fit my "frog" theme.. and the only other name that was short enough to fit was "Bayou". But I didn't like it enough to use it - so I just put "Frog" in front of the generic town name "dale", and voila! Frogdale was born. :p

Honestly, that's a pretty awesome story. x3
For what it's worth, I think that name is very cute.
