How old are your villagers?

This was a thread before about a month ago, and by now, I'm sure a lot of us have different villagers now! And if not, maybe you have different ages for your villagers now? A fun little game, these are mine and how old I think they are..

huh, interesting. i think that all of them are adults (they own their own houses after all jhbbjnk) but i tend to think of the lazies and peppies as younger, like early twenties, while the crankies and snooties are older, around 40+. everyone else is in between. i know the lazies can have some pretty childish dialogue in this game but i still think all of them are adults lol, just very immature adults in their case

This is a cute idea. Since I'm at 9/10 of my preferred villagers, I'll answer as if all of them are present (still waiting on Apollo).

I also play in Japanese, where the Crankies talk less about how old they are, so my interpretation of their age is a bit different than it probably would be for the English script.

Kind of threw this together on the spot, but that's the general idea, I'd say. No one strikes me as being near the age of retirement disregarding the fact that everyone is unemployed...

(Don't mind me as I keep making slight adjustments to the ages...this is more fun for me than it probably should be, haha.)

I think lazies and peppies are 18-22, crankies 60+. snooties 50+, uchis and smugs probably 20-40ish. I definitely see crankies as old enough to be grandpas given their dialogue (in CF particularly)

i know back when i played new leaf, i thought everyone was around the same age as me at the time (so like, 14), except cranky and snooty villagers. but in this game, villagers explicitly mention Adult Things so....(i've had Buck write me a letter about college o.o)

Bunnie - idk, ageless (probably my age?) I've had her in my towns since I was 12 and I'm 26 now, so she just ages with me mentally.
Sprinkle - mid late 20s (she reminds me of my HS BFF, who would also be a little older than me. I see her as like 25-28)
Genji - early 20s, 19 at youngest
Marshal - late 20s, early 30s?
Stella - 40s (she's kind of grandma-ish, tbh! But she reminds me of my aunties when I was a kid. It's mostly her personality and house, but the sheep villagers all remind me of rugged up elderly ladies, all fluffy with their shawls and scarves and knitting. So I could easily see 60 even.)
Kabuki - 40s (maybe even older from the way he talks?)
Merengue - early 30s
Sherb - late teens, like 18 or 19...? He definitely doesn't seem fully adult, bless. But I do not see him as a kid exactly.
Mira - She hasn't moved in yet, but I see her like a college-age Sailor Venus!
Diva - bye Diva ;-; Maybe like 25? She struck me as a mature, maybe kind of jaded post-college grad, lol. Maybe it was the way she talked about moving out from home.

My partner has Scoot, who is one of the few villagers I view as (maybe canonically, even) a child.

Definitely I'm with you on Ursala being early/mid twenties. She might need to be a couple years older than that for me though, maybe 25? since I'm turning 20 this year and the gap between our maturity is... there

Billy is a funny case because he's clearly an old guy, but because he's jock crankies talk to him like he's a 20- or 30-something despite looking older than them. I think of Billy as like those former Marines you see doing incredible athletic feats in their sixties or so, and maybe a little wacko/hyper but still sufficiently there mentally and physically. And, as military tend to be in my experience, very entertaining to listen to.

Clay is a relic of ancient civilization, so he's several millenia old. Guess you could say he's immortal... and immortally immature. Kinda like Wisp, but marginally more intelligent and less annoying.

Sprinkle's definitely young and hip, maybe 22 or 23. Marina's either a quiet adolescent or around Sprinkle's age. Sandy seems like she's in about her mid 30s. Monty is in his mid 50s, Spike's in his early forties having a midlife crisis because he can't be a cool skater punk dude anymore but he tries to stay in shape as much as he can. Lionel... I'd put him a little younger than Spike with all the elegance and maturity of a kindergartner playing castle. Astrid's in her forties but still manages to be the cool mom

Fauna- Anywhere from 19-25 (she’s pretty mature)
Merengue- mid to late 30’s
Zucker- too new for me to tell
