How often do you write letters?

I barely write letters because my mailbox and mailbag are full of letters (I have so many that I want to keep rip).

I don?t really write letters. Mainly because it?s not a really big feature with too many uses. I do send furniture and clothes if I want to switch something up. But other than that, not too much. In the old games I would do it often in hopes of rare fruit or something but now it?s easy to get all that. I never use the future self option for mail unless for MEOW coupons

I will only send one if I need to send a gift for my villager for whatever reason, but I don't like typing on the DS for any reason.

It depends. Sometimes I like to just write nonsense and mail it to my villagers rather often, but sometimes I can go longer periods without sending any letters. I like to send them clothing or other items in the mail though, especially shirts since I like it when they like the shirt I've sent and end up wearing it. It's especially pleasant when I really want them to change their clothes.

I don't write letters too often. They take so long to write but at the same time, I feel like there's never enough space to say what I want to say. I do like sending my villagers fruit, though.

From what I've seen it's random. Sometimes they'll wear/display it, sometimes they won't even acknowledge it. If you want to give them something expensive I think it's best to just wait until they ask specifically for furniture/clothes, otherwise you might lose a lot of bells sending them the same thing.

Normally only when I remember. Like I?ll go months without writing then remember I haven?t written to anyone for a while and write a letter to each of my villagers (cause I feel bad if I don?t write to all of them). And I have to write proper letters too cause I get so bummed when a villager shows me a letter that just says ?Hi?. So after writing 10 long letters I remember why I don?t write letters and then don?t bother again for another few months or until I remember. XD

Almost never. Maybe once when they move in and once when they leave. I rarely send them furniture or clothes because I like to give it to them in person. I used to not put any thought into letters but recently one of my move ins, Mallory, who I love, keeps showing me a letter her last mayor sent her which just reads ?LEAVE? lol it made me so sad. I?ve been sending her nice letters to overwrite it but sometimes it still pops up.

It depends. Whatever you send them will end up going into their inventory, and they may choose to wear or display it. I've found that sending them something in a color and style that they like increases the chances that they'll either wear or display it. But if they don't, it'll hang around in their inventory for a while until they just randomly ping you one day and offer to sell it to you (this happens every time I send them fruit).

I try to write one letter a day and alternate villagers every day. I rarely send gifts.

Not quite often to be honest. There was a time back then where I wrote lots of letters in hope
to get the badges you can get for writing letters to your villagers. I also wrote random letters
here and there and also put items in them in hope my villagers would put these items into their
houses (worked most of the time luckly). Now these days, I don't write letters at all, as I'm busy
with other things in my town. Maybe I'm gonna start to write more letters one day and see how
it will work out.

I only send letters to my villagers if they're trying to sell something really important from their homes in Re-Tail. I send the furniture right back and have them put it back, because stop changing your house so much, that's why. Some of my villagers' houses can get so empty because they want to 'remodel'.

I used to write letters more. Especially when villagers first moved in, or hate mail to the ones who made me mad. And i used to send gala (my favorite) mail all the time. But now I literally send NO letters at all.

I think I write letters pretty often? Usually when a villager gives me medicine for a bee sting as a thank you or if I go to their house and they don't have a music player so i can send them one? Sometimes when I find furniture that makes me think of them I like to gift it like exercise furniture to Poncho? Or when there's an event and someone stayed at home, I like to send them whatever it was that you could get from the event like sending extra halloween candy or sparklers or something. Huh, I guess I mostly write letters to give gifts? I only realized now :0

I'm currently grinding and trying to get at least bronze of every badge, and I have the silver letter writing badge so I sent out a ton of letters (I still write words, of course, not just gibberish) because I want to get the gold one.

I just wrote personalized letters to 8/10 villagers (ran out of paper), attached some fruit and sent them away!
I know they can't "technically" read what it says, but I still like to write something nice to make them feel special
