How often do you see rare items on your private island?

For the first time in nearly 3 years I have the treasure chest available on my private island, and I have the Elite Scavenger Tour so I can earn medals like crazy and finally make the treasure dungeon basement I've always wanted :'D I might make some fancy treasure museum rooms, too!

So, have you ever had a really rare item on your personal island, and if so, what was it?

I had the kitchen island there yesterday. I bought one and managed to sell it for 15 TBT as it's very rare.

I don't really go to my island often, but the first time I got to the island after having it unlocked, I saw the Kitchen Island on display.

Probably. I mean, villagers can have island items in their houses.

The only one I haven't see it's the sand castle but I seen the rest of the items

I've done tons of island hopping! I also have extra sand castles if you want them c: I bought like 10 when I saw them for the first time lol

I go to the island every day and I never get ANYTHING. It's usually hibiscuses, club tortimer sheets (even though I'm a member), and wet suits. It's really a shame. I'd like to get the silver axe.

I've been quite lucky actually, got the treasure chest several months back, would have bought several if I'd saved the medals got the pink wesuitnot long afternoon I first started and got the box of chocolates more recently although I had already got those catalogued. Waiting patiently for the sandcastles and sea globes to appear

Very little on my own island, the same old all the time.
I did get the silver axe (twice, different games).
But other than that I've had to go to CT islands to get any of the rarer all island items, let alone the CT exclusives.
And I go to my island every day!

If I can, I take a visitor to my own island as that gets rid of the CT membership form and you get another item in its stead - trouble is, its always been yet another common item.

The rarest item i've seen is either the snow globe or the red striped wetsuit. I'd really like to see the hammer someday and i've been playing the game since release in the UK. I've only obtained the hammer from friends, who have got it before. Although now that I think about it, I don't think I have the heart to hit any of my villagers since i'm happy with them right now.

Yep, it's just a lot more rare than on the international island which, I guess, is what motivates people to go to the club tortimer islands.

I've never seen anything rare on my island, only when I join the club one. I saw the white wet suit 2 nights ago and I bought 1 but some random troll flipped his WiFi before I could save. :/
I have seen the pink and striped suits though but that's about it. Nothing else..

When I did still go to the island...basically never. I found the Toy Hammer on my island once, and a wetsuit or two. They weren't even the "rare" wetsuits though. I still have my hammer, and later on I got rid of my old wetsuits and bought cuter ones from someone on here lol. That's like it though.
