How often do you go beetle/shark huntin

I never go anymore. I rely on turnip prices despite them being really risky and unpredictable. I currently have turnips selling for 525 bells, and I'm refusing to start a new day until I reach my goal of being a bellionaire. :)

In the beginning, I went every evening. Now that I have paid off everything and more than enough in the bank, I only go in the middle of the night when I can't sleep and there isn't anything to really do in town. I really like the relaxing music on the island late at night. Helps me relax and hopefully fall asleep.

I go every few days, get a full basket, and sell it all (not on the Bell Boom ordinance, either).

I'm not expanding my home very fast, and most of the PWPs I want are inexpensive, so that's really all I need.

I enjoy doing it, it's just that three nights out of the week, I have other obligations. Otherwise, I'd probably do it daily. :p

I used to go about 2-3 times a week. Nowadays I usually have enough bells by selling on the Re-Tail board here, so I only go if I need the bells to pay off a loan or public works project!

I use to go maybe once or twice a week...
Now I hardly ever because the dull top screen mixed with the very bright bottom screen hurts my eyes.
I wish there was a way to adjust each screen's brightness on the ds...

I go most nights, though I never have the patience to fill the basket. I have some turnips on hand, but always seem to land decreasing patterns in my town.

Up until my current playthrough, I'd pretty much go as my only way of making money. Now I mostly trade items/hybrids/villagers.

I dreaded having to go beetle hunting on my cycling town, where I'm broke. :p

I've rearranged my trees on the island so I have 4 palm trees and just 2 Durian trees.

I usually have a set path that I take, that way I clear all unwanted bugs from the screen. Try to pause just a second before moving into the next frame to allow the game time to place all the good beetles. Chase away all small shadows in the water to accelerate respawn time. If the emperor butterflies come out you can either reenter the hut or catch them with your net and release them so they disappear faster.
I usually try to catch one butterfly because then I don't have to be constantly checking my inventory for the number of slots I have left. The game will tell me when the inventory is full and it doesn't matter if what I caught is a shark or a stag I can swap out.

I go maybe once every 2 nights because i get bored of it really easily, i think im gonna start using turnips

used to be once a week, then i discovered turnips

Once you have turnips, beetles are worth nothing

i usually just go when i'm in need of bells but i'm not focusing on beetle hunting right now

i only go maybe three times a week? i go a lot less now since i started to sell turnips. i always hated going to the island, it was so tedious.
