How Often Do Villagers Appear In the Campsite?

Basically, the title. I'm curious... after your first campsite villager, how long did it take you to get your next camper?

After the initial one, it took me 10 days to get another (who I got to move in). Then another one came 5 days after that

I've only gotten 2 campers in my campsite since my first campsite villager, so that's roughly 1 camper every 10 days or so?

Not very often, I rarely get visitors so they are relatively uncommon
