How much money do you carry?

How much IGB do you carry in your pockets?
I mean on a day to day basis. Do you always keep it at a particular amount and below or do you just let it pile up until you run out of space?

Personally, I always have 10k bells on hand and I make a trip to the post office if what I want to buy is over that amount. What about you?

I just carry whatever as long as it isn't spilling over into inventory space but I always keep the bank balance to a multiple of 100,000 just to look nice, lol.

I always carry around 60k-80k - enough to buy things and low enough to not get bells in my inventory.

I keep 50,000 bells on me because I always buy fertilizer and saplings, and any furniture/ clothes I want when I go shopping every day. If there's a Gracie set I want, then I'll keep a million or so on me :3

In my first game, I carry anywhere between 100k - 300k just in case Gracie has something for sale and I am far too lazy to travel to the ABD haha. I also visit the HH showcase pretty often to order items that I haven't seen come in through my shops. In the second game I only carry about 50k-80k. The drastic amount difference is because the second game is a newer game so I'm not rolling in bells like I am in the first game. I would share my bells between games but...only one 3DS.

once i've done all my daily chores (fossils, rocks, tree shakin' + sometimes catching the odd bee), i'll sell whatever duplicates/stuff i don't want, check the shops, then put whatever i have left in my savings.
i'm not too fussed about expanding my house right now cos my catalogue is teeny-tiny.
sooo i'll carry 2-3k usually, just so i don't have to run backwards + forwards in order to go to the island cos i'm like 4 bells short.
life in Chumani is pretty slow at the moment

Usually around 40-50k. If I want to buy something, there's always enough bells to get it.

After selling fossils/ore/miscellaneous furniture, if the amount exceeds 99k I deposit the extra into the bank.

I usually carry around 25k bells because then it goes up to 50k when I get money from the rock, the ore and other things I might sell the following day.

Less than 99,999. Every 100K I earn goes into my bank account. On the first of the month, when I get my 99,999 in interest, I add 1 Bell to the account. As you can see, I like round numbers.

I carry until I spill over and go to make a deposit. I will deposit half of whatever I am currently carrying. It's so funny you asked this. The day before yesterday my daughter asked me the exact same question! How much money do I carry? So funny

I know its not the wisest thing to do, but I usually only have showing less than 1k - if I have more than that showing, the villagers keep asking to sell stuff to me. Usually rubbish but I lose out on possible art sales or items I have yet to catalog.
Ingrained, I just can't stop myself from hiving off bells into letters.

I then deposit or buy on main street/PWP once I've stopped making bells.
If its less than 99k, I try & combine it with an island visit & deposit the bells via the ABD there.

I keep a full wallet most of the time as I like to shop in the emporium daily. Plus if I see anything in nooks homes that I like when I'm on in the morning I'll go shopping there too.
Spend it throughout the day on PWP's or any trades and then do a top up in the morning

I usually have around 70k wherever I go. Whenever I sell stuff around town and run out of bell space I take it to my abd. I like having that much on me just in case I go to someone's town unexpectedly and we go shopping. (I'm weird,I can't stand going to my locker or abd when I am hanging out with someone)
