I think I've gotten 80 thus far? I'm pretty content with that number given that my town name is simply called, "town", haha.

In Jayhawk, I've gotten at least 50 (as of 4/1).
In LuvLilac, I've gotten only 9 and that was all from the mayor of Jayhawk visiting (as of 4/1).
I love the way the pink trees look. It's going to be hard to update the dream once the trees go back to green.

I've had 38 visitors in my town, just updated it, and usually I try to keep nothing on the ground, but I have items at the train station, items for people and items I need to refurbish

Those were all last I checked. I have no idea why people want to visit my towns unless they're looking at villagers because none of my houses are finished (except Elsa's) and I don't have paths or PWPs in the three other copies and???? People are so strange, why do they want to visit ugly towns with items all over the ground? xP
