the lowest price to buy all 6 sanrio amiibo cards on ebay is $45 USD + free shipping. for an individual card its 10 USD. is this a ripoff? about how much do you actually pay for 1 card?

They're selling for around 3000? for a set on yahoo auctions Japan right now, so around $30... but it's prob more abroad. The reason they're so expensive is because they're sold in blind packs, plus they're super hard to find (I went to 10 diff stores, none of them had any in stock).

Might be more worth it to wait for the UK release where it's all six for like 7?, unless you wanted the stickers that came with the Japanese ones.

They're ?4.99 on Nintendo UK's website. I'm not sure if you can give them shipped to the USA from there. I heard a rumor (emphasis on that- it's a rumor) that they'll be coming out on December 2 in the USA, so maybe we can just wait until then. I've been trying to find those cards for a reasonable price, too.

ebay is selling a pack for $10, each pack brings 2 cards. Buying 3 packs (6 cards) would cost $30 on eBay however you'd most likely get duplicates/not complete the set.

The cards are this expensive because they just came out and there is a lot of hype. On top of that you have to import from Japan as they haven't been released anywhere else yet.

Once they come out in EU/NA they'll be a lot cheaper. I'm guessing $5 for NA

I believe they're sold out

You can only order from the UK Nintendo if you have a UK address as they don't ship overseas. The packs are also limited to one per customer to try to stop people from selling them online afterwards I suspect.

Honestly though? There's always going to be a load of hype about this collaboration. Hello Kitty fans AND AC fans? It's insane.

It should be cheaper if you buy only the cards and not the card and the seals I think it is around 3000JPY for the set of 12(6 Amiibo cards and 6 seals) but the price of 6 Amiibo cards is about 2200-2500 JPY, if you are buying them as single card they could be from 150-400JPY. The only downside is that you need to use Japan shopping service if you live oversea and are non-Japanese speaker. This could add some extra fee to the set and the shipping fee is not that cheap if you want to receive them within a week.

The inflation on EBay is crazy, but not unexpected. And they are selling the complete set of six which means they bought multiple packs, opened them and made the sets for the player. You could easily buy multiple packs and not get the full set of six. So, overpriced? Most definitely. That said, I bought a set. I have been playing AC in its various incarnations for fifteen years. I felt the price was worth it for something I have played and loved for all these years.

reminding anyone not in UK you can look for a proxy to forward them to you to get the cards! theres not 0 chance of you getting them

I was going to pre-order them from the Nintendo UK shop, but you need a UK address. RIP :'c

Do you know any good Ukproxy service that offer other shipping method beside DHL? The shipping fee from UK to NA seem to be quite high for DHL:(

Can I used the cards on my Canadian new leaf game + amiibo attachment adapter?
