How many villagers appear on main street?

I am trying to cycle through 16 villagers so I can get Rosie to move back in, but I'm not sure if I have cycled through 16 villagers or not. I haven't seem Rosie on my main street in a long time, so I don't know if she has been cycled through yet or if she just hasn't shown up lately. So does anyone know how many villagers can show up on your main street at a time?

The villagers I always seem to see on my main street are Lionel, Ken, Stitches, Purrl, Renee, Tom, Merengue, Beardo, Pashmina, and I believe that's all.

If she's been in main street in the past and you suddenly don't see here anymore, then it's a possibility you cycled through 16 villagers. If you've never seen here in general, then that just means you haven't hit the cycle yet.

Then it's possible that you cycled through 16 villagers. Just keep checking in the stores, dance area, and museum to make sure she doesn't pop up. If she still isn't around, then you're probably good to get her back!

Correct me if I am wrong but do they always show up on Mainstreet? Peanut moved out of my town like 4 months ago and i N E V E R saw her on mainstreet once

If they moved out of your town, then yes they do; it just takes them a while for them to show up. For every villager that moves out of your town, one of your old villagers show up in main street. For example, Cesar moved out of my town almost a year ago and he finally showed up in main street once another one of my villagers moved out. The old villagers that show up in main street show up as the first person to move out, then when another villager leaves, then the second person that moved out shows up, and vice versa.

What is the maximum amount of villagers on Main Street? Because I have a cycle town and I never see 16 total. At most, maybe 6? Does that seem right?

All my non cat villager that I kicked out so 6(but I only see like 2)(I had 4 starter cats and I couldn't believe my luck) I have all four of them and then the rest of my dreamies ever since so about 6 months now!

Oh I see.. it is probably because I never let anyone move out since I have all my dreamies. (Except Deli... GET OUT!)

8 out of your 16 stored villagers show up on mainstreet. The ones that show up are the ones closest to being cycled out~

Only the six appear on Main Street, so if she randomly disappears, cycle through 10 more, then hopefully you will be able to get her back
