How Many Times Have You Started A New Save?

I agree with Cupcake- some aspects of life just shouldn't be changed I guess. I reset a couple times for map reasons, but I found one that I like (even though my house is SUPER far away from Main Street and Retail XD)
I haven't started a new save and I don't plan on it really. I don't have the best villagers but there's plenty of room. Honestly it's not the layout that matters- it's what you do with the layout that really makes people like your village.

i wanted to reset because i hate my layout, thought i would like it but no. i have like 70+mil bells in my bank and dont feel like transferring it to my alt town and back again tbh

How do you get so much money *cries*

None, but I'm going to be getting a digital copy of Animal Crossing, so I might reset that one a lot ^^

I actually restart a few times. Some were for layouts. I picked the town I liked best out of the maps(sometimes not my favorite) and would explore it only to find I didn't like one certain feature. Like maybe I had oranges, or the waterfall was weird, because of a certain villager( Lol I had Flora and Tutu and Annabelle in one, saw them as way like *nope*) There were other times where I restarted with awesome villagers (I had Chester, Margie, Stiches, AND Bruce in the same village, but the layout sucked.) Now that I'm settled into my town though, I couldn't think of restarting.

I restarted once because I ended up getting the 3ds bundle a couple days after I got a pink 3ds+cartridge, so I just ended up giving those to my bf and starting a new town on my digital copy, lol. My town is nowhere near perfect but I'm not really into resetting for a certain beach, fruit, rocks, etc.

I believe that once you start a save file you should stick with it. Things are never perfect at first, it's what you do with those things that makes it perfect.

When I first got my new 3ds ( treated myself ) and the new copy of AC ( because I couldnt see myself being happy with a new 3ds and the old copy of wild world lol ) SO I got home and booted it up, I was so excited about it that I forgot about the face guide ... I came out with a really bad face but a good town map. So I started over because the face just wouldnt grow on me no matter how hard I tried. Now I have a face I like lol, and the map at first I wasnt so much into. But I do have Bob in my town, and I just have to be more creative with my PWP's and things like that to make the town look great so in the long run Im happy with it. if sometime in the future I decide to start over after all my hard work then thats fine too

I haven't deleted any save files yet, but I have burner character that I am using to get extra limited edition items. When I get all of the items with that character, I will delete it and make a new one to serve the same purpose.

Twice.

First time after a couple of days because I didn't realise you could choose out of 4 maps at the beginning (and I completely forgot about the face guide!). Second time because of bad building placements and I got tired of the map. I don't think I'll ever start again now

I have not set it up yet, but I have the building lol I am working on trying to get spork out before I do anything, He moved right on my path and is in the way of everything! ahhh so I am stuck have TTd fpr 3 days no going ahead almost 3 weeks, and he still wont move...I go swimming for 5 min hes the only one that wont give me a ding, I never ever talk to him ever or send him anything, so I have no idea why he wont scram

None. I've done this so many times in City Folk I don't get any progress at all and just quit playing all together.

I'm keeping my first town this time.

Maybe send him a letter saying that you will use your axe and make him into bacon if he doesnt leave this instant! lol. I know what you mean though I have a few animals that I jsut want gone but there is no way they will leave, I don't talk to them or anything its so weird but I guess they will leave sometime.. its just a pain. But I sure can't wait to see your dream suite
