I have been plot resetting since yesterday and I realized that Poppy's house would never be at the exact place I want despite the huge space. Should I give up?
Keep going! I've people plot reset for weeks but that's crazy to me, the longest I've done it is 4 hours. I'm happy I only have to do it once more for my last dreamie and I'm done!
Have you tried powering off your 3DS after a few plot resets? Apparently that helps move the plots to a new area so give it a try.
I typically don't plot reset much. I care more about houses being in a generally nice area (and not on top of fruit trees or hybrids) than I care about getting them in a very exact spot.
I am not picky enough to aim for an exact plot, but I usually will try to at least get it in the near area and then I give up. I try not to do any landscaping or anything until I get all the villagers I want so I don't go ruining too much by not getting them in just the "perfect" spot. I am way too lazy for that.
Keep going! You wouldn't want to put a villager in a spot you're just okay with. Yesterday I plot reset Pango ALL DAY and she finally got into the spot I wanted. It's worth it!
Keep going! It's a coincidence that you're plot resetting Poppy, the longest I've ever plot reset was two weeks with Poppy -.- But that's what I get when my town isn't very developed.
Be patient. I know it feels like it takes forever, but just be patient. It took 3 days to get Stitches in the spot I wanted him at, but it was worth 3 days.
My most recent villager to move in was Drago, and it probably took me about 45 minutes to plot reset him into a place that I actually liked. You're pretty much giving yourself a death sentence if you're trying to plot reset a villager into an exact 3x3 spot, so I suggest just having a general idea of some different areas that you would want them to be in.
Don?t give up, the longest I`ve done plot resetting was two or three days, it`s a great method to organize the villagers houses and have your town the way you want it to be, it?s totally worth the time and effort. Good luck!
