How many stars can an island hold?

What's the maximum number of stars that wash up on an island after wishing? Ie if you wish 100 times can you get 100 stars? 200? 500??

You can wish as many times as you want, but I believe the max per day is 40 if you wished on your own island, and 20 if you wished on someone else's island.

I've only ever gotten 20 as a base, regardless of where I'm wishing from

I've gotten up to 40 though, from wishing on my own island while hosting visitors as well

i think the most i've gotten is 32 for a single day.

Max is 40. 20 of your own wishes and 1 for every 5 wishes made by vistors per player

If you have extras without NSO, they can get 20 stars too

Thanks for the correction. That was my bad. 40 on your own if you have guests wish too.
