How many profiles do you have on your one game?

I only have one— I would like to have two for theming purposes but I don’t think I could balance playing two villagers properly, and I remember being frustrated by how the non-representative characters are limited in their actions, so I don’t think I’ll make a second one. I tried it before resetting my island the first time and it just didn’t feel satisfying to me.

i currently have 3; my island rep and 2 alt characters. i used to use one of them (juniper) to store my spare diys, but now that i can put them into my actual storage, she doesn’t have much of a purpose atm. i use the other (sage) to store art and items for my potential future second island. i have no other ideas or purposes for them right now, so i tend to neglect them and just focus on my own profile.

8 haha, but I'm gonna replace at least 2 of them with fake builds. I've had 2 extras for a long time, but added a bunch more recently and regret it now. Too much money to upgrade all the houses and you can't change the exteriors until you've spent a ton of bells upgrading, so the ugly houses are sitting in places they don't suit. I can achieve what I want to with fake builds, so think I'm going down that road, apart from the extra 2 that I've had for ages as they're fully upgraded.

I have 3. My main character and the other two are just for helping my
main collect stuff faster. Like if Redd had more than one paint I needed I could have some of the others buy it. Or get 3 items from gulliver/pascal instead of one. They are both still in tents

Currently, I have 3. I was planning to add all of them, but I've since decided to keep it at 3. The other 2 characters are there to tell a story about the island, but I do use them from time to time as well.

honestly i use the second account more for extra storage. i am slowly acquiring stuff for decorating it tho, i kinda want to do a beach house theme. i use the character for extra miles and fossils, since i have about half a dozen fossils left to collect, finding ones i'm missing is getting harder and harder, lol.

plus the new plaza items have me needing to set up an amusement park, and those items are all at least 2.4k miles.

You don’t necessarily have to play as the characters you create. They can just be houses. I had a second character on my island used to resemble a hotel and I never played as the character. I even named him “Hotel” so he would appear as such on the map. I wanted everyone to know exactly what the building was intended to be, even before entering.

I have 3 profiles on mine since 2 other people used to play on my switch as well. I've thought about deleting their characters but decided to just theme their houses instead.

That's fair! And that's a clever way of labeling the building I think I personally would just feel weird about not playing them, as silly as that might sound. Back in Wild World, I had 4 characters and played all of them, but that was when I was a kid, and I definitely don't have that kind of free time anymore, haha!

I have one extra, not even being used sadly. Only to fill the extra spot when you view your map, I hated seeing that there's one empty slot for a person/animal to fit into to make it nice and even ;u;

Only 1. I was thinking about a beach side hotel and with a bar and a restaurant but all of my villagers got a nice garden, so i used up way too much space.
