  • Still too young

For Americans too young to vote this election, look at the bright side. You'll be able to say you cast your first ever vote for Kanye West.

I'm 32 and the voting age here in Australia is 18. Voting is compulsory, and I've voted in many state and federal elections. Most of my family members help run polling stations, though I've always been too busy to myself.

I usually vote early, and out of my area, so I can take my time filling in the ballot papers without worrying about crowds of people waiting. I vote "below the line" and this year's senate ballot paper was around 1 metre long!

Voting age here in Sweden is 18 so, yeah, I've been old enough for quite some time. I did not vote my first time around though. In 2010 and 2014 i voted for the Green Party but since they've abandoned their ideals I'll have vote for the Left Party in 2018.

The voting age here in Canada is 18. I'm almost 27 and have voted in three federal elections.

i'm 16, the next election is in two years and you're allowed to vote at 18 so in the next election i will be old enough to vote. but at the moment i'm not

ye im 24 so obviously, voting age here is 18.. 16 for the church election stuff i think though but i don't really vote for those stuff.

I was afraid this thread was going to make me feel old. Haha. >_<

I've been old enough to vote for 5 years, but I never had. I live in Canada and I wish I had voted during the last election and voted for Trudeau. This is the first time I've actually paid attention to politics and the first time I get mad when people bad mouth the Prime Miniser. Haha. He's just so open minded and involved in the community. I hope hes around for a long as he wants to be!
