lol I would but I just can’t justify current prices on some of them. I firmly believe there will eventually be reprints of the cards in North America (they’re already happening in Japan) and between the new game hype and the fact that everyone is stuck inside and bored out of their skulls right now, demand is insane. It won’t last and I cannot possibly talk myself into paying more for one villager than I did for the whole game.

tbh I actually sold off several of my highly sought after amiibo cards instead of using them myself because the prices are so ridiculous lol. Who were your dreamies that you bought cards for?

i bought cards for marshal, diana, peanut, hamlet, muffy, lolly--basically i tried to limit 1 for each personality to make it more practical. and then punchy even though i already have him (in case i lose him).

i forgot to order for a cranky though haha, i might soon because they're hard to come by the islands & campsite.

oof, you must have spent a fortune on some of those! I sold my Marshal and made enough to pay for all the other cards I wanted (Julia, Bianca, Marina, and Tipper). good luck finding a cranky! I’m currently torn on my selection for a cranky haha.

Around 500 tickets for Raymond. It took 3 weeks of grinding Nook Miles + for many, many hours a day.

Tia I found after about 70 tickets or so...

Zell was 2. Mitzi was... hmmm she's hard to figure out I want to say 20-30 tickets. I've been taking a screenshot for every villager I meet on an island so I could look back and get an exact amount but I can't be bothered aha. I'm waiting for someone to leave. No rush though since longer it takes for someone I want to leave to ask more tickets I can save.

The only thing is I don't have set dreamies. I knew I wanted Chief, Zell and Mitzi (I bought Chief's amiibo a few weeks before game released so no island hopping for him). The rest I'm pretty open about. I bought Vivian off someone so I think I'm gonna keep her. Otherwise I've got Goldie and Rodeo who I definitely want to leave. Then there's Boone who I'm conflicted on. Then there's Skye and Dotty. I'm leaning towards letting Skye go at some point since I have two wolves already (she was a dreamie in New Leaf but I think I want more animal variety this time) and just coincidentally happened to meet her on an island. Dotty I'm super conflicted on I think I'll hold onto her for a while and see how I feel. I did want to get Raymond ever since I saw the new villagers so I might stick with that and try and find him but if I stumble upon someone else I like I'd probably just invite them.

I got Judy off my campsite and Dom is my starter, so no tickets spent for them.

I spent several tickets for the rest of my villagers but honestly not more than 22 tickets in one go. I don't have an amiibo move-in yet.

Found Audie pretty quickly, but then it was because of the fixed personalities of villagers 3-5. Downside is she gets the default house.

I had only 7 tickets and found Sherb on the last one yesterday. I even met Molly and Whitney. It's just luck really.

I didn't find either of my ultimate dreamies with what I estimate was around 150 tickets :| ended up getting one of them from a friend and buying the other with Bells. but I did find 5 other villagers I was looking for with less than 100 tickets!

edit: and he's probably one of my top dreamies because i never see his card for sale

at first i wasnt too big of a fan of raymond, but seeing him on an island completely changed my mind and he took about 6 tickets! while fang took about 8 and beau took maybe 15 or so... still hoping to run into julian or marshal sometime in the future, but for now ill keep racking up the nook miles but im not too fussy on inviting villagers to my island just as long as i find them cute

Audie took maybe 50 tickets. Sherb took 2. I found Raymond in 37 tickets, I wasn’t actually looking for him but I couldn’t leave him. I found Judy in 68 and Cyd in about 50.

Which used up all my luck since I've spent dozens trying to find any of the other ones though. I've seen literally every lazy dog except for Bones.
