How many languages can you speak/understand?

French and Dutch because of school

English. That's about it. I did three years of french, so I used to know enough to be able to hold a conversation that at least makes sense, though I dropped that subject when choosing my GCSEs because I detested the teacher that did it, and it doesn't really appeal to me in the way some other languages do. If my year group did spanish instead, I may have kept it, since I go to Spain quite often, but I honestly wasn't too bothered over French.

Although I'm not fluent in anything except English, I can count 1-10 in a number of languages.

English was my first language and I learned German as a second language, but my speaking skills aren't that good but I can read and translate German to English.

I only fluent in English. I used to be semi-fluent on a "able to understand perfectly well what you're saying but am terrified of responding" in American Sign Language lol I took some classes in Spanish from 6th-10th grade and despite living in a Spanish city in a border state to Mexico and being part Hispanic, I just couldn't grasp Spanish but when I got the option of taking ASL I actually flourished and learned things amazingly fast!

I find I'm actually losing my hearing so I need to read people's lips a lot more to understand what they're asking me ^^;; and while I totally fail at Spanish, because of my job I can understand a few key phrases in Spanish as well as numbers from 1-100

First language is English. I studied German for 5 years and got an A in it in my final exam but... Uh... I can't really remember much of it now. And I didn't really know that much. I also studied Japanese for 4 years and got an A* in my final exam. I can hold decent conversations in it, but I am not so confident that I could say that I am anywhere near fluent. But I plan to study it further later on in my life, I just don't have the time to now.

I like to think that I can understand Japanese pretty well, but when it comes to speaking it... Writing it is even worse... I can also recognize different languages, even if I can't actually understand or speak them.

I know Tagalog from being born in Philippines and English. I took a couple courses in Latin as well, but I can only understand bits and pieces. I really want to learn Esperanto though.

English and German fluently, can read Spanish fluently and speak it ok, been having an ongoing love-affair with Swedish since I saw my first Bergman film when I was younger but can't speak it or understand that much (the German helps with it though).

Used to be able to read Korean but I went four years without practicing and I've forgotten most. :v

(Probably butchered the spelling of all of that.)

I'm also fluent in english, and hindi.
