I just received a new villager and the previous player gifted her some clothing I'm not fond of (specifically a hat lol). I was wondering how many clothes I'd have to gift her before she might stop wearing it? I usually don't gift my villagers accessories either so can I get rid of it if I just gift her enough shirts?
