I have one, unfortunately I feel like I barely have time for my first island so I think any additional islands would definitely get neglected. Sometimes I think about restarting my island to try out new designs but I’ve put so much time into it that I can see how having more than one copy of the game could be useful.
I think most people will only have 1 or 2 if they're fortunate enough to own a second system. It's not like the 3ds where you'd run into people with a massive libaarry
I've only got one island! I'd like to have another, but one is doing alright for me. I'm not currently done with my first island anyways, so after that I'll probably invest in another switch/island.
I only have one island and intend to keep it that way.
Whereas it was appealing to have multiple New Leaf towns because of the ability to have multiple towns as long as you had separate copies of the game since the 3DS cartridges were a lot less expensive, having multiple New Horizons islands requires having not only multiple Switches but also multiple copies of the game. That's a significant investment for a game that, while I enjoy it, I don't enjoy as much as New Leaf. Not only that, but I have better uses for the money that would be used for this endeavor outside of video games. Even if we limit it to video game expenditure, I'd rather buy and play other things. I've admittedly considered purchasing a second Switch if they release a more powerful version, a "Pro" version as the rumors have called it, but until and unless such occurs, I have no interest. Even if it does happen and I did get that more powerful hypothetical Switch, I wouldn't bother getting a second copy of New Horizons regardless.
I only I have one island, before I was playing on my daughters island , I was so love to play animal crossing and then I have decided to buy for my self. I always love to decorate the things and this game is all about it . I’m enjoying it so far
Just one. Like others mentioned, I don't want to buy another switch to get another island. I'm not happy that Nintendo made that move because I had two copies of New Leaf on my 3DS previously and that worked out perfectly fine. Plus, I also don't want to invest even more time on another island when I'm still working on the first one.
