How many days till moving In?

Basically,I invited Biskit to move In today,from another town,and I am wanting to do the time trick to pick his house so how many days will It be till he moves In?

There was this one rare case when I invited Fauna over to my town but my villager Julian was moving out on the same day and Fauna didn't appear until the 7th day.

They actually leave the moment you take them lol

Right when you leave his house, it will say something like "Sorry, I've already moved" if you try to go back in. Or, I know that at least it does when the gates close
