I decided to up my game this week and spend around 2 million bells on turnips. I usually only buy around 800k (two pocketfuls) since it's not as hard to sell on other islands if you're patient. I'm hoping it's worth it!

How many do you usually buy and is it worth it for you?

I don't buy turnips anymore. I only bought turnips on three occasions. I did ok the first few times but didn't buy enough to make a really good amount, but then my friend had a buying price of almost 600 I TT'd to Sunday morning and went back and forth until I hit 20 million. It took about 4 hours because of having to run around finding Daisy but it was worth it to me.

I usually spend 1 million on turnips, I think it's a good amount for me because if there is a good price I can make quite a good profit from it and if I have a bad week i'm only losing a tenth or so from my savings/abd.
Also they don't take up too my room in my house.

I'm never up in time to buy turnips 🤣
I did make 800K off them in the second week I think but that's the only time I've managed to buy them. I think I'd rather stick to selling misc and bugs/fish for money, even if it's slower.

I usually just get one inventory of turnips (~400k bells) and store them in my basement until my friends or I have a good price. If I plan to TT for whatever reason or I have a bad buying price, I don’t get turnips.

I spend more each week. Last week I bought about 1 million bells' worth. This week I bought about 1.4 million bells' worth.

I always buy 3 full inventories worth of turnips every week, which is around 1.2 mil bells.

I normally spend about 50k right now. I did 100k last week and felt a bit stressed trying to wait for a nice turnip price. So, the smaller about 5 stacks of turnips seems to be my comfy spending zone.

on my sundays i usually camp on turnip.exchange with daisy in my town. full pockets are ~400k and i try to do at least 10 trips

I do 3/4 inventory. I have a full row for tools at the bottom, and I fill the rest with turnips. Thats all.

last week i spent 2.5 mil, this week i spent 50k. highly depends on how i feel and obviously how much they're selling for

About 800k so 2 pocketfuls as well. More than that seems like a hassle to me. I don’t even like asking if I can make multiple trips so I usually just look out for turnip prices that are like 580+ throughout the week and ask 2 different people if I can stop by. I think it’s fun and I like plugging my prices into calculators to see what pattern I’ll have for the week. I have about 11 mil right now (i know it’s not a lot lol) that I have mainly made from turnips so I would say it is worth it. It can be annoying trying to get on someone’s island when they have a spike, though.

I average at about 3 trips/1.2 million. I did only do 2 trips/720k on Sunday to keep my balance even lol plus it's just a lot of work to visit towns without inventory. Once I hit 50m I might stop, or just do it when I feel like it.

None, but when I still did turnips it was based on trips and not bells. I'd calculate how much it would cost to buy 4000 turnips, and then buy some from her. I started doing this after I had like 300 turnip;s leftover after a turnip.exchange trip. Too annoying to do another trip for a small amount.

I usually spend somewhere between 1.5 million to 2 million but every since I had to go back to work I haven't been buying any.

I spend 0 bells on turnips each week. I already have 4.4 million bells, and I never have touched the stalk market even once. (I even have my final loan payed off, and paid it off weeks ago, and I even moved each of my buildings a crapload of times.)

How do people store their turnips? For the first time I bought 1 mill bells worth. I filled up the entire basement and then had to store them on the beach as I was out of room (why you cannot put them into storage I will never know).

Then my town score dropped because I have too many items laying around.
