How Many ACNL Copies Do You Have?

In regards to people's questions about how owning multiple copies becomes a thing...

My first copy was for my main town, of course, and then one day at work I got very inspired and planned out my entire Goblin town. I wasn't about to delete my main town to create it, so I gladly purchased a second copy. Later, I bought a third copy on sale so I could have a cycle town. At one point, a friend of mine did a big favor for me, so I gave them my cycle town cartridge on long-term loan--basically, I gave it to him. My other copy, which is soon to be a second dream town (because I love my other two towns far too much to delete them)...well, I really don't remember purchasing that copy, though I definitely did.

And that is how one finds oneself in too deep. Hahaha.

I have 3 copies. One completed town and one nearly completed town. I have a third copy that I use as a cycling town currently. But if I decide to start a third town I can use that copy

Is it just to get a different town map, season, villagers, etc.?

Well yes, that's part of it. There are a lot of benefits though. For example, my main town has high turnip prices. I can use my second town to fill my locker with turnips and sell in my main town. Also, one town can hold villagers I may have accidentally let move out in another when I wanted to keep them. I don't have to ask for help for petitions or for people holding things for me because I can do it myself. It's very handy having multiple copies.

Oh yeah, and you can get two different native fruits and sell your perfect fruits in the other town for big bells. And you can have up to 20 villagers with two copies, or more for more copies.

I highly suggest if you're a big/dedicated ACNL player that you get a second town.
and there's a sale on them soon in America at least... that may be a good opportunity to grab one
