How man trips do you take to buy/sell all of your turnips?

I'm really curious how invested (ha) people are in the stalk market. I'm currently only buying enough for one trip, but I'm considering upping my game in the future!

I want to stay safe, so I generally never spend more than 99k buying them

Unless it's urgent (like I have to TT for a move-in), I limit it to 1 trip per host because I feel any more than that makes it more difficult for both me and the host. But I have been buying 2 inventories full of turnips, I just sell them at 2 different islands!

I like big profits, but I don't like annoying the host. I had a big spike this morning and let my friends come. One wanted 12 trips...

Yeah no, maybe 3 max because there was a lot of friends and since the spike hit in the AM, there was only 4 hours for it

The max trips I've done to someone else (buying or selling) was 2. I think the most I'd do would be 5, it would get really annoying after that for both of us.

2 trips full is plenty for me, lol. The worst bit for me is finding a place to store that many turnips!!

I've only sold on my island and my daughter's, but 2 trips is max for me. If I was going to someone who had a big "line", I would only do one.

I feel yall on not wanting to take extra time for hosts x'D if I ever do more than 1 trip in the future I'll keep it in mind that I should look for separate islands to do my trips on so that i dont clog up the queue

For the same reason as ctar17, I usually only do one since more often than not I am selling on someone else's island and it seems disrespectful of the host's time as well as other people who want to sell on that island if you are flying in again and again because 2-3 million bells a trip isn't enough for you.

First week was one, second two, third three. Each time I spent everything I had on turnips. Now I’m pretty close to the 10 million goal so I’m just gonna buy 40 slots from now on until I get that achievement then I’m retiring from the biz.

1 usually and 2 trips is enough, if i'm still carrying tools, so basically that could have fit in 1 trip lol. the prices on my island are amazing, but i still don't want to risk too much.

1, i'm too lazy to do anything more than that, and, for me at least, anything more than that is kinda overkill. Usually one full bag will net you 1.5mil+ if you can sell at the right time and place.

I've bought 190 turnips so I could sell them all in one trip. I won't need a lot of money after I finish moving two houses and building a few stairs and bridges, so there's no reason to get a huge amount of money

I only buy 2 trips worth each week. I don't generally try to do more than 2 trips unless I'm best friends with them...just since I know the volume of people can stack pretty quick and I don't want to delay someone badly.

This week was the first time for me to buy-sell turnips. I spent over 400k bells on them (bought them at 90 bells each). I tried to sell them over 500 and yesterday I found and island buying at 635. So I made 2 trips to sell everything and tip 200k the host. I think I will make this once a month cause I don't think i need more than 2M bells now that I have no mortgage to pay, just for building a couple of stairs and bridges.

Usually 2-3 but this week over 5 trips (I wasn’t counting at this point). I just wanted enough bells in my savings so I never have to worry about grinding extra bells to move house placements, bridges, inclines etc.

(but i dont condone annoying hosts thats too scary lol
i normally find a different host per trip or do about 2 or 3 per host just so no ones inconvenienced)

i usually just buy one full inventory worth of turnips so 1 trip is enough for me. if i really wanted to make a bigger profit i would get 2 inventories worth, but i'm just lazy lol
