How long will it take before a villager plot is bought? It's been three days now since Marcel moved out and I'm curious how long it will be before my new villager moves in.

I think it can be as short as 1 day or as long as 3-4 days.
If you play online, you're much more likely to get someone's voided villagers...

It took me a week for my empty plot to be claimed by a random villager. I thought I was never gonna get one lol

You're welcome. I was trying to get some villagers from those mystery islands and then Boyd moved in three days after. Maybe it was four days, I don't quite remember. It was months ago.
