How long have some of you had your town? Have you resetc before or is this your only town on ACNL?

I've had the same town since the day I bought the game, which was June 20th, 2013. I don't think I'll ever reset it. Every time I've reset a nice town I ALWAYS regret it and then lose interest in playing all that over again. On WW I had a town that I liked a lot, but I cut down a lot of trees and hated it so I reset it ._.
And then, also on WW, I got an even better town than the one before and an awesomly decorated house that was the biggest you could get, and then for some reason, I reset it. I don't even know why, but I dI'd regret it.
On CF I had such an awesome town, awesome house, awesome villagEra and then i wanted a new map, so I transteered items and bells and reset.... huge mistake. It's just not fun replaying everything imo....

Soo what about yall?

I resetted so many times, I can't even remember how many times! I guess I restarted because I can't get ultimate, beautiful towns, no matter how hard I try! I restarted on November to be careful not to fill the whole town with paths and add more extras.

My original town since the release date. I am now with a second town in a new cartridge that I'm planning to make my main town, but I'm playing on both rn

I reset a couple of times, not too many. Then I got a town and it just sort of stuck...
I had that town till the end of October this year (so it was a year and a few months old)
And then I made another town beacaue I was sick of my old town and the villagers, landscape ect.
I got bored of that town too because I hated the map and then I made my current town Sprinkle!
In Sprinkle I've decided to start a new leaf (no pun intended) and really think about how my towns going to be set out and the theme
I really hope I can stick to this one!

I got the game on Christmas, and I still have the same town. So, almost a year.
I resetted my town many times in CF. I regretted doing it the last time, though, I had a lot of rare stuff.

I got my first copy at the end of march and my second copy around october of this year. I've never resetted in either of my towns. I have thought countless of times to reset my main town when I come across really nice towns. but did I really want to start all over when I already had accomplished so many things? nope. I decided to work on my town and make it work and I ended up loving my town afterwards. gettings inspired by those dreamtowns and getting tips helped a lot.

since june. i think i've restarted my town about four or five times bc of how unhappy i was since i'm an indecisive person, but i really like my town this time.

I've had my town since June 13th 2013! I love it and still play daily, I hope I'll have it for many years to come too ^_^ I also have a storage town that I use to keep all my junk, and cycle/hold villagers if needed. I've had that one since July 2013. I did try to have a proper second town, but I just didn't have the time to put into it so it seemed like a waste and I closed it down. I'm working on getting all the gold badges right now, and if I ever manage to complete them all, I may try again at a second town.

I've had my town since December 14, 2013 and have never reset. At the time, I didn't even know that you could start over and get new maps, so I just worked with what I had. I never even thought of resetting until I was active on the forums and people were always saying "I'm resetting/I'm bored/Wanna start over, etc", so yeah...

My town turned out nicely and I put way too much effort into it to redo everything over again, especially those darn badges. Never ever would I dream of so many towns or pull so many weeds or pop so many balloons again! I'm also a completionist so having a 100% catalog, every type of hybrid, completed at least bronze (stupid street pass, give me silver already!) of every badge and gotten all of my dreamies in all the ideal places, I would not want to go through that again honestly. Too much to lose at this point for me.

I often don't like resetting games though unless I've been away for too long and don't know where to start fixing things or don't remember what I did last so yeah. This is also my first AC game, so it's kind of an experience for me since I've never fully invested a year into one game before, or not been able to finish in just a few days.

i made my current town on nov. 8, 2014. my last town was made on feb. 25, 2014.

I am a "serial resetter". I started my most recent town five days ago, on December 3rd, 2014.

I began playing ACNL on June 12th, 2013. I thought this was my 8th or 9th town, but I just checked my records and this is my 11th town! I love the fun of having a new town.

My eleven towns and when each began:

1. Auvergne - - June 12th, 2013
2. Illusion - - July 13th, 2013
3. Anglesey - - October 17th, 2013
4. Solaria - - January 25th, 2014
5. Heaven - - April 1st, 2014
6. Moonsea - - May 26th, 2014
7. Moonbeam - - June 17th, 2014
8. Oceania - - July 27th, 2014
9. Destiny - - September 27th, 2014
10. Pleiades - - October 24th, 2014
11. Seaside - - December 3rd, 2014

I've had one since March, another since May, and a third starting today when I get off work!
(Yes I have three copies now and NO I am not going to have a life ever again)

I've had Majula since about June 2014 I think?
Rapture I think is only about 2 weeks old, I'm very tempted to reset it but I have lovely villagers there and my perfect fruit orchard is growing nicely..

I've had my town since June 22nd 2013. I have no plans on resetting, I've put too much effort into it to restart.

pushing close to one-year anniversary

crazy how much progress has been done, thinking about it

completed museum
obtained every catalogue item sans ABD (that I want to get with gold badge)
obtained nearly every non-catalogue item on-hand or able to get
obtained every villager pic
obtained nearly every PWP
etc

trading does wonders

that said though, my town design progress is basically like -50%
