How long does it take for a villagers plot to appear ;-;

I just traded my Kyle for Francine, I went to their town to get Francine first, and they TT'd a day to get her out. They then came over to pick up Kyle. I saved and TT'd a day to get him out and have since TT'd a few days one at a time to try and plot reset but no plot has appeared ><

Did something go wrong? D:

Oh dear, I really hope all is ok and Francine will appear soon!
I've had experience with plots that took 3-4 days to appear (Shep gave me a good scare, it took forever),
so maybe it's just that...
Sorry if I'm not much help, just wanted to give you hopes.

Wait...you get Francine first? By that time, is the num of villagers you have is 10 or 9? You can't get anyone move in even you already have a move out yet the house still there.

It may take a couple days. I know it did for Wolfgang when I got him. ;-;

I was worried about that part too upon re-reading.
If Kyle was still in her town when she went and got Francine I don't think she can move in?

I had 9 villagers when I spoke to Francine, now 8 with Kyle gone whilst waiting for Francine c:


No random plot has shown up, which it would with 8 people, right? So I'm guessing she'll appear sometime? Stop scaring me Francine

If you had 9 villagers when you went and got Francine it will probably be ok.

OH MY GOSH I just tt'd a few days forward and her plot is EXACTLY where Kyle's was (where I wanted it) ahhhhhh I feel so lucky right now, I thought I was going to have to plot reset for hours \o/ \o/

Congrats ^^. Waiting for a villager's plot to appear can be really nerve-wracking sometimes lol
