How long did it take to max out friendship?

I've never maxed out my friendship, because I've never kept up with a town long enough, to do so, but how long did it take you or around how long did it take you to max out your friendship with a villager, and which villager was it?
Would you or have you let that villager move out?


I think, depending oun which villager it was, I might let them move out. If it was Croque or Rudy, I wouldn't, though...

It took me a while but I maxed out with Marina. Downside is that everytime I go to my house to change stuff she usually knocks on the door and wants to come in lol

Took me 9 months but within those 9 months I took long hiatus so about 5 months to get Snake's picture. Trying to get Chief's and I feel it that Im getting there.

I had Pekoe for two months and then one day she gave me her pic. Same happened with Phoebe. On the other hand, Anchovy has given me his pic only on April Fool's Day; I have yet to get it from actual friendship and I've had him for quite a while. He's even dropped in my house unexpectedly, so hopefully I'll get his pic for once (and not his stupid shirts... )

I think it took me a month or two to get my first picture, but that was way back when I first started the game.

Usually it takes about a month for me. I write letters every day, stop by to talk several times a day, and I try to do favors. When they ask for fruit, I give them a perfect fruit if I have one on hand. Marshal was a tough guy, though. It took about 4 months for him to give me a picture.

I've only ever had 2 villagers give me pics: once out of the blue and once when they moved :c
