How long did it take to find your perfect map?

How long did it take to find the map you finally settled on? Right now I'm at 2 days and still resetting.

1 full day for my new Neo Mercury. Not only is the map great, but I also got cherries, blue train station roof, as well as the starters being Skye, Whitney, Mott, Bubbles, and Broccolo. I like all of them except Broccolo. In fact I am keeping Skye and Whitney! Plus Mott can hook me up with some Sloppy furniture!

I'm pretty picky, I want things to be placed nicely. I don't mind the colors of the train station or the town hall since I'm remodeling them as soon as I can. But I only want one pond, and it needs to be spacious. Starters don't matter, I have Skye, Fang, Julian, Zell, Phoebe, and Diana waiting for me in my cycling town. DIANAAA. I love her omg. Also I need a spacious spot that I am gonna landscape and that's where Diana is gonna live. I'll find a picture.

I actually dont like maps with a narrow strip of land. It would always confuse me what to do with it. But I am always interested to see peoples dreamy maps.

I just settled for a map I liked then made my town to my liking.

I spent 15 hours plotting diana. No, I think more, maybe 20, she got close enough, i was too tired to keep going. I love her though <3
