How has RNG been treating you lately?

RNG has been pretty good recently!

Got Redd twice in June, once on June 5 and once on June 15. Wasn't expecting him to show up at all, didn't check the map either. Ran across the back of my island to the other side while looking for the message bottle and voila, there's a boat! I did time travel both times to farm Redd because it's so damn hard to fill up the art exhibition. RNG on the artworks are not as good, keep getting dupes and fakes.

Then I came across the weather seed tool and wanted to find the seed for my island, so I time traveled back to when I had a meteor shower just to double check the data. When I time traveled back to the current day, I got Kabuki at my campsite! He is one of my dreamies I had to invite him. I only planned to have one cranky on my island but now I have Kabuki and Roscoe and I love both of them. I'm missing a jock on my island but I don't know who to let go. The rest of my villagers really grew on me.

Haven't been checking turnips lately but when I did, it was always 100-ish.

LOTS and LOTS of DIY DUPES. My villagers are not crafting any wreaths or crowns it's frustrating.

My two orange roses I got from reds are the ones that actually made it too.

Ever since I started playing, I've only gotten two turnip patterns: first week is random, next week is big spike. Rinse and repeat. I have never gotten the decreasing one, and I got the small spike at the beginning because I believe it's programmed to be like that. So I buy my turnips every two weeks and make cash. I'm pretty sure things are bound to change soon, but I've been pretty lucky lol.
Other than that, I've finally completed the summer DIY selection and I got some DIY recipes I didn't have.

I've been pretty lucky recently, thanks to the game and also couple of generous posters on here.

I was really struggling to get hold of the Celeste DIYs I needed for my planned stargazing area - the nova lights, the moon and the crescent moon chair...I just kept getting wands!

I was getting tempted to pay for them, but the 60NMTs I was quoted in one selling thread for the nova lights alone put me off!

Then somebody popped up giving away the DIY for free! Awesome!

The next night, Celeste was on my friend's island and gave me the moon DIY, then someone else on here was selling the crescent moon DIY for 20TBTs, which felt reasonable.

Still no green mums and still looking for my last fossil to complete the exhibit. Those are really the main things affecting me I guess but I'm pretty patient I also barely see Redd or Gulliver but that's ok for now hehe

My villagers are set, so I haven't done island hopping. The rest? Horrible.

I haven't had a camper (unless I scan one in) since my first smug when it was first constructed.

I've yet to have a meteor shower since launch.

Daisy has been selling high and the Nooklings are buying low.

My hybrid patch is spitting out every color except what it is supposed to.


Ah, well. I've gotten some nice presents from friends and gotten to visit some pretty islands. I'm sure things will turn, eventually.

I got Redd today! I think my RNG with Redd is way above average ^^
My villagers kept giving my cardboard DIYs which kinda stinks since I still need stuff like the stool and coconut juice, but it's whatever.
My purple mums refuse to spawn a green though >.< but I got an unexpected purple windflower the other day!

Overall I feel like with these kinds of games, RNG will always just be RNG. The only RNG that gets me kinda annoyed is DIY RNG since I was missing really basic recipes like the benches for months. I had to trade with others with NMTs to get most of the recipes I needed.

i time travel so much RNG doesn't make a difference anymore lol. but, i've been going a little slower recently and have gotten a few DIYs from villagers i don't have yet (which is saying something because i think i only need like 20). i will pretend that that is my reward for not time traveling and confusing the hell out of my villagers who never know what month it is.

RNG is weird...
In my recent island hopping I found 2/3 octopi, about a half of all tigers, lions, gorillas, wolves, but not a single deer. I found two rare fish on my second character which were yet to be found on my main. Weather is extremely rainy lately, so my island is drowning in flowers, mostly the ones I don't want to duplicate(c'mon game, I want more of my purple windflowers and green mums). Wisp is visiting me 4 days in a row, like, WHAT? Nook's finally got an item I wanted but color is not the prettiest. Good turnip prices just fell out of the existence. I'm getting too much duplicate DIYs instead of ones I actually don't have.

I got two campers in five days, both were cranky frogs. However, none of them was Wart Jr., which is the cranky frog I'm looking for. So I guess RNG tried really hard to treat me well but it just didn't work out 100%

Its just crashed a burned for me lately.
DIYs don't worry. Same ones.
Campsite. Still glad I put it out of the way because its empty or has someone I dont want.
Islands? Same generic ones with villagers I hate yep.
Had to send Chief (who I settled on because I ran out of nmt) two of a decoration for outside his house. Everyone else puts it up right away.
Oh. Villager errands recently I dont even get a gift. When I do its just like worker jumpsuits (why?) and money (boring).
Fishing? Yay a Metal fish black bass.

Really having a hard time feeling like, I should log on or ill miss something! No. I wont.

i've had some luck with bottled diys but that's about it.. villagers moving out, campsite villagers, balloon items and special items from the nook app haven't been treating me so well.. OUCH

Well, the only one to ask to move out lately was Judy, and I want, or rather, need Dobie to pack up and get out instead. So that was horrid luck. (I didn’t let her go, btw.)
The only new DIYs I’ve been getting are from balloons and snowboys. I guess that’s good?? But also not, because my villagers keep crafting the same basic crud, like bamboo lunch boxes and square natural tables.
Though I’m getting a lot of gold roses from my friend coming over nearly every day to water them.
And my Able’s shop is selling some pretty cute clothes, though I’m starting to think I’m just a sucker for sweaters.
Overall, I’ve had a ratio of (probably) 75:25 of good luck to bad luck.

It’s ok for me, but really bad for diys, I keep getting the stupid fruit furniture and the wooden block diys and other duplicates.

All of my balloons recently have been bells or x5 iron stacks so I haven’t found many summer DIYs.

Fishing RNG has been fantastic though. Been terraforming near the beach and have found a few sharks. The fin was different and hard to see so at first I didn’t even know it was a shark.

I have a camper today, but it wasn't Diana so obviously pretty bad.

I haven't really been playing at all except for checking turnip prices, and those never went over 200 last week...

Pretty good. After 2 months of playing I've finally experienced my first ever meteor shower. I really like cats and have not met any cat villagers yet then in my latest island hopping session I met both Kiki and Raymond, plus got Raymond with only 11 NMTs which was a shocker. Celeste did not appear on my island at all during the Taurus period, but ever since the Gemini period started I've been seeing her every 6-9 days.

Update:

Shops: The shop gave me the violin for the second time yesterday. Still no saxophone. This is insulting at this point. Then today I walk into the store and it's the phonograph, which is a really neat item... But the shop already had it before on either Sunday or Saturday! This repetition is too much!
Visitors: I seem to be getting Redd roughly ever two weeks. I get Wisp a lot. I don't get Celeste very often at all. I feel like I've only seen her once in this entire last month. Flick and Chip are so rare nowadays that I don't even bother with them much anymore. Sad, I know.
