XD that happened to me too n.n her name is Patri. She doesn't play anymore but we are friends on Facebook and instagram xD we've know each other since the first day I came on the forums xD she was looking for friends so I replied to her thread and since then we've been friends ^-^

I've only met one person I actively talk with, and that person was from Club Tortimer, strangely enough. A few of the people on here I could see being ACNL friends eventually. I prefer talking to mature people, and there are a ton of kids on TBT, at least it seems that way to me.

Yeah, i've been noticing you can usually tell if theyre a kid when they dont spell anything or post without regarding any rules lol.
I'm 20 years old but i've gotten harrassed on here by people who are older so idk if theres really a difference in friend quality with age. I've seen a few groups requesting older people to comment and ive been meaning to but theyre all 21+ lol

I have met some lovely people on here x

I haven't been on here for months because I stopped playing
animal crossing but I have gotten back into the game again!
I remember meeting this great person but I deleted their
friend code and I have rest me town so many times I have
forgotten them...I remember their mayor being called Toast
which I thought was super cute! I can be really rude tho
without meaning to be...I'm super sensitive and things
get to me really quickly. Unlike most animal crossing
trading sites this one is the best! Such a wonderful
group of people that are so friendly and nice to each other,
it's beautiful! And the best part? Hardly any scammers: Amazing!

Yes! I used to trade on jvgs, i guess they took it down due to a ton of people duping and stuff and scamming. But i love the wifi rating aspect of belltree and all the forums bc usually even if they dont have the negative rating people will speak up and save you from getting scammed. Its a very scam free environment. But sometimes people have super nasty attitudes for no reason and idgi lol. O try to be positive even when people are annoying af

I'm pretty friendly I guess. Even if it's just trading I try to chat and be friendly. But it's kinda hard to know sometimes if the other person want's to keep some distance or are in a hurry or something so I usually keep it short.

I've made in-game friends both on TBT and CT.

I've met a handful of trustworthy and talkative people. I found out recently that I couldn't trust one of them because someone stole about 10 hybrids from me. I had my gate open for best friends only so it was someone I trusted, still haven't figured out who. :/ That probably doesn't make you feel better. Lol There are some really nice people I've met that I can joke with. We usually end up sitting on a bench and talking for an hour. Afterwards I know my town hasn't suffered. There's another that I mostly do tours with too. It's harder finding people that actually chat than it is to find people that won't steal.

I try to be friendly when trading but I don't trust many people with my town. I came here to buy & giveaway villagers. Frankly the in game chat is annoying but there are a couple people on gamefaq that I've kept in my friend's list to chat with. I joined this forum a few months after starting the game. I also have real life obligations to attend to but if someone makes it clear that they want to remain friends and chat I'll leave their friend code instead of deleting it after trades.
