How do you TT a villager out to move another one in?

I was just informed that someone has one of my dream villagers for me and they're going to TT them out. How do I go about TTing out one of my villagers so I have room? I have never ever time traveled before and the concept scares me a little bit! I don't want to lose Julian or Kitty, but anyone else can GTFO.
